Customer Criteria and Alerts

For an agreement (and, in some cases, an appointment) to be opened for a customer, the customer must meet certain eligibility requirements. Failure to meet these requirements prompts an alert under the field or at the bottom of the agreement, or a message prompt.

Customer's driver's license expiration date must not be expired Override: None. You must update the license information.
Customer's driver's license expiration date must not expire before the expected Return Date. Override: None. You must update the license information.
Customer's automobile insurance policy expiration date must not expire before the expected return date. Override: None. You must update the insurance information.
Customer's driver's license number already exists in the system for another customer. Override: None. A message is displayed with the option to choose to use the existing customer record.
Customer's age, based on date of birth on driver's license must meet the minimum age set in the Customer Minimum Age management setting. Override: If the current location has the Allow Override of Customer Minimum Age on Agreements management setting turned on, employee roles with the Override Minimum Age Restriction permission can click OVERRIDE to bypass the customer minimum age requirement.
Customer record warning messages (flags): Must not be flagged with a DO NOT LOAN type warning message. See "Flag a customer record (Do Not Loan) " for more information. Override: None.
